Giannis Antetokounmpo’s availability tonight for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Sacramento Kings remains iffy. He has missed the Bucks’ last three games due to a sore right hand.

The two-time NBA MVP has been banged up of late. He previously suffered a right wrist injury against the Chicago Bulls on February 17. The injury caused him to make just a cameo appearance during this year’s All-Star game.

The “Greek Freak” got into another freak incident when he banged his right knee against Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo on February 24. Antetokounmpo left early in that game against the Heat and then missed the Bucks’ matchup versus the Phoenix Suns to rest his ailing knee.

The seven-time All-Star now has a sore right hand to deal with on top of his previous slew of injuries. He last played against the Washington Wizards on March 5. It was that game where he controversially went for a last-second rebound to get a triple-double, a feat which was later rescinded by the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s sore right hand may still have something to do with the right wrist injury he sustained against the Bulls. It’s probably the reason why the Bucks have kept him sidelined over their past three games.

What is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s status tonight against the Sacramento Kings?

A sore right hand could force the "Greek Freak" to miss yet another game.

The Milwaukee Bucks have officially ruled Giannis Antetokounmpo as questionable. This marks the fourth straight game he’s had the same designation due to the aforementioned injury.

Antetokounmpo has already missed 15 games this season and could add to that total if he continues to feel discomfort in his right hand.

When will Giannis Antetokounmpo return?

The Milwaukee Bucks have not set a specific return date for their franchise player.

The Milwaukee Bucks are scheduled to play a back-to-back set starting tonight. There’s a good chance the Greek basketball superstar could make an appearance in one of these games.

After the Bucks’ 125-116 overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors two nights ago, Milwaukee head coach Mike Budenholzer was non-committal about Antetokounmpo’s status. The “Greek Freak” may be a game-time decision with the way things are going.

If he gets to play tonight, he may sit out tomorrow night’s game versus the Phoenix Suns or vice versa.

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics are neck-and-neck for the best record in the entire NBA. Milwaukee (48-19) is just 1.5 games ahead of Boston (47-21) with still roughly 15 games left. If the Bucks intend to hold on to their position, they may allow Giannis Antetokounmpo to play sooner rather than later.

Antetokounmpo has also surged as one of the legitimate MVP contenders after the Milwaukee Bucks’ spectacular past two months. It’s going to be an added incentive to return as quickly as possible.

The Milwaukee Bucks power forward is averaging a career-high 31.2 points, 11.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists this season.
