Steph Curry is the reigning Finals MVP after the Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in six games last season. During media day, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo gave incredible compliments towards the Warriors star.

One of the best aspects of a great player is their awareness and knowledge of when to be humble and put a different person on a pedestal. It's one of the aspects that separates Curry and Antetokounmpo from the others, as they both practice this type of humility.

When asked who he thinks is the league's best player, the Greek Freak answered sincerely and gave his reasoning behind his answer.

"The way I view it, the guy that wins is the best. ... I believe the best player in the world is Steph Curry," Antetokounmpo said.

Later on, Curry was asked what he thought of Antetokounmpo's comments.

"I would say the same thing when you're facing the champions, that's part of like the nature of the league," Curry said. "We all want to win the championship, and when you look at the team that's the last team standing and who's playing the best, so I was thinking about him last year.
"I appreciate the compliment, it's not gonna soften me up to get complacent."

Curry and Antetokounmpo won Finals MVP in the last two years. That makes their matchup on Tuesday night one of the most highly-anticipated this season. Both players also have had two MVP seasons apiece, making their bout even more exciting.

The Bucks (19-7) are currently second in the Eastern Conference, while the Warriors (14-13) are ninth in the Western Conference.

Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo are two of the NBA's biggest stars today. Their talent and impact has made them fan favorites. Both also play opposite styles. Curry is focused primarily on shooting 3-pointers, while Antetokounmpo is an unstoppable freight train in the paint.

For Antetokounmpo, his team is in a decent place with a 19-7 record. So far, the Bucks have no serious concerns regarding their season. Everyone has played well, even Brook Lopez, who became the premier shot blocker during Jrue Holiday's absence. One thing they should take note of is Khris Middleton's health, as he's important to their success.

For the Warriors, the whole team needs to step up and help Curry. Steph is the only Warrior averaging at least 20 points, making it difficult for them to find their stride. Once they figure it out, they'll be able to make it to the postseason and defend their title the right way.
