Draymond Green had a chance to make a game-winning shot against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night. The Golden State Warriors forward attempted a 3-point shot with the game tied at 111. However, he misfired.

The game went into overtime and the Warriors won it 125-116. Green had a poor shooting night, scoring only two out of 10 field goals. However, he made up for it with a brilliant all-around performance as he grabbed 13 rebounds and fished out nine assists.

The Warriors veteran shared his thoughts regarding his game-winning attempt. If he made the shot, Green revealed that he was going to do a dance that would've cost him $50,000.

Draymond Green missed the game-winning shot against the Milwaukee Bucks, but it was for the best

Green is one of the best players on the Golden State Warriors and he's the heart and soul of the team. The 33-year-old forward is well known for his defensive abilities, although he can knock down a 3-point shot from time to time.

During his post-game press conference, Draymond Green revealed that he was going to dance if he made the game-winning shot. However, it doesn't appear that the dance would have been appropriate as he said that it would've cost him $50,000.

"Probably saved me $50,000 though because the dance I was going to do when that ball went in," Green said. "I'm happy that we still got a win and I get to keep my money in my pocket."

The Warriors obliterated the Bucks in overtime, winning it 14-5. Steph Curry caught fire, ending the game with 36 points on 13-for-27 shooting. Curry also knocked down six 3-point shots in 43 minutes on the floor.

Draymond Green in the 2022-23 season

Green is having one of his best scoring seasons with the Golden State Warriors. His scoring average of 8.5 points per game is the highest since the 2017-18 season, and he's also converted 53.2% of his shots.

The defending champions are having a rather disappointing season and it's very unlikely that they will have a deep playoff run. However, this could happen if everyone on the team stays healthy.
