Sarita Devi's ordeal with the AIBA ruling got a booster shot today with Sachin Tendulkar expressing solidarity with her and making a case for saving her career.
It is good to see Sachin come out in support of a fellow sportsman. In the meantime, it seems even the government seems to have got into action with Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday saying that the Indian government will appeal to the International Boxing Association (AIBA) to reconsider its decision of suspending L. Sarita Devi.
We at Sportskeeda wish that the issue is resolved amicably and L Sarita Devi can continue with her career.
