The first game in Saturday's (May 20) double-header will see the Delhi Capitals (DC) take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The much-awaited encounter will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Delhi, who have already been eliminated from the tournament, will enter the game on the back of a resounding win over the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their previous game.

In their last away game of the season, DC were put to bat first by Shikhar Dhawan at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.

They were handed a superb start by their openers David Warner and Prithvi Shaw. The two added 94 runs for the opening wicket before the former was holed out for 46. Shaw completed his fifty afterwards before getting dismissed for a well-made 54.

Rossouw's innings led DC to 213/2 in the first innings. Sam Curran was the only successful bowler for Punjab, taking 2/36 in his four overs.

PBKS needed a strong start to have any chance in the game. However, the hosts lost Dhawan on a golden duck. DC were superb with the ball, especially their pacers Ishant Sharma, Anrich Nortje and Khaleel Ahmed, who took five wickets amongst them.
