[Watch] MS Dhoni gives autograph to a young fan on his CSK jersey

MS Dhoni recently interacted with a young fan and went on to give him an autograph on his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) jersey. The legendary cricketer is currently in Bengaluru, preparing for CSK's final league match of IPL 2024 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the high-stakes clash on Saturday (May 18).

A CSK fan page on Instagram shared a video on Friday to give a glimpse of MS Dhoni interacting with a young kid ahead of the match against RCB. In it, Dhoni could be seen in a fun mood, asking the kid to climb on the sofa, before signing on the back of his CSK jersey.

"Some teams have started using the spin option" - Mohammad Kaif on RCB's potential gameplan for MS Dhoni ahead of their match vs CSK

Former Indian batter Mohammad Kaif recently pointed out that teams have used leg-spinners like Rahul Chahar and Rashid Khan against MS Dhoni to prevent him from scoring big in the death overs.

He felt that RCB might be tempted to do the same during the upcoming match by giving the ball to Karn Sharma. Kaif was not in favor of the tactic and thought it might backfire.

Speaking on Star Sports, Kaif said:

"Some teams have started using the spin option. They are bringing Rashid Khan or Rahul Chahar in the 19th or 20th over in front of Dhoni. The tactic has worked to a certain extent but I believe Karn Sharma won't be able to do that job. Karn Sharma's problem is that he wasn't given chances to play regularly earlier."

He added:

"He will be under pressure that he is unable to make his place in the XI. He has bowled well in the last few matches but don't give the 19th or 20th over to Karn Sharma. He will be under pressure and Dhoni will dominate. He can hit five or six sixes in an over. Only proper bowlers who are in rhythm and have confidence and form can save you from Dhoni's havoc."
