South African ODI skipper AB de Villiers’ batting and fielding exploits are known all over the world. Despite being one of the senior members of the squad at the moment, he is still their best fielder by a mile. But whatever you see now wouldn’t have surprised his teammates one little bit.
Here in this video, you can see him dive to his left in an instant and take a blinder of a catch in the year 2006 when he was just a 22-year-old against New Zealand in a Test match. Makhaya Ntini was the bowler and with the Kiwis already struggling at 2 for 2, this man made matters worse with his solo effort.
