Aaron Ramsey has continued his blistering form as he scored for the 11th time this season for Arsenal. His team-mate Thomas Vermaelen has hailed him as the “best in the Premier League”.

Ramsey came in as a substitute and scored a goal in the Gunners 4-1 victory against Norwich City while Ozil scored a brace and Wilshere scored the opener.

Vermaelen told the Sunday Mirror : “Aaron is doing incredibly well. He showed it again against us (Belgium) in midweek with his goal. He is the best player in the Premier League at the moment.

“He is scoring goals and looking really sharp with his passing.He’s doing extremely well. He’s been unbelievable for us.

“He got the Player of the Month award, scoring goals, playing well and showing he is important for us.

“There is more to come from him because he is young.”

The 22-year-old has been scoring at will for the Gunners but it still remains to be seen how well the youngster would perform as Arsenal face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on October 23.
