Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar has expressed his gratitude towards relegated side QPR for signing him last season.
Cesar signed a four-year deal with the London based club last August after a move from Inter Milan. He enjoyed an illustrious career with Inter, where he won five Serie A titles and one Champions League.
Cesar, who put in a string of good performances for QPR this season, was unable to save the Londoners from being relegated.
“I had a wonderful year, individually speaking, regardless that the collective is not what I expected,” Cesar said.
“I was caught by surprise and my career took a bad turn at Inter and QPR were the only club that came for me and helped me at that moment.”
