New Chelsea signing Cesc Fabregas has revealed that Spanish teammates Xavi and Carles Puyol have decided to step aside to spend more time with their family as reported by Spanish newspaper Marca.

"He and Puyol have decided to step aside, to be closer to their families, away from roads so much demand," said Fabregas.

Barcelona’s new manager Luis Enrique in his presentation had said that he himself was not sure about the future of Xavi and has left it to the midfielder to decide for himself about his future.

If Xavi decides to leave Nou Camp, it very likely that he may go to Qatar as he has been a hot prospect there where he is reportedly been offered eight million pounds per season.
