Sanchez hints at Chelsea transfer

Alexis Sanchez has set the cat amongst the pigeons after dropping a huge hint about his future. Sanchez, in an exclusive interview with Chilean sports journal Publimetro, said, "I am happy in London and hope to finish my contract there. I’d like to stay in the city but with a team that is winning things, that has a winning mentality. I’m 28 years old, I still have a lot of years ahead of me. I am a player who looks after himself.”

Arsenal have been in talks with their talisman to sign a new deal but the Chilean has delayed putting pen to paper and is considering a move away from the Emirates. Daily Mirror have claimed that if Arsenal fail to tie Alexis to a new deal, they would demand in excess of £50m to sell their leading goal scorer.

The Belgian is set to quit the Goodison

Chelsea are ready to splash £70m on a quality striker this summer with Romelu Lukaku rumoured to be their top target, and according to Daily Express, Everton are finally ready to cash-in on the Belgian striker.

Lukaku is enjoying the best season of his career and is leading the Premier League goal-scoring charts with 21 strikes to his name. Chelsea are uncertain about the future of Diego Costa and with Eden Hazard looking likely to join Real Madrid in the summer, Lukaku has emerged as the ideal target for The Blues.

Lukaku himself has done very little to put an end to the rumours surrounding his future as he desperately wants to play for a Champions League club next season. Manchester United and Juventus are also monitoring the 23-year-old striker’s situation ahead of a possible summer bid.

Morata could be on his way to London

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is certain to quit the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and as per the bookies, Chelsea are the firm favourites to sign the Spaniard. According to recent odds revealed by BetStars Morata looks set to make a move to Stamford Bridge.

BetStars spokesman Ian Marmion said: “Alvaro Morata looks to be on the move from Real Madrid this summer after failing to make much of an impact under Zinedine Zidane.

“A host of clubs are hoping to prise Morata from the Bernabeu but it looks like he’ll be heading to London this summer with Chelsea the clear odds-on favourites to sign Morata this summer at 4/6.”

Antonio Conte tried to sign the Spaniard last year and the Blues will once again make their move amidst the uncertainties surrounding the future of their two biggest superstars – Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.
