Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has backed Mesut Ozil saying the German will be a success in the Premier League.
Arsenal signed the 24-year-old for a club record fee of £42.4m from European giants Real Madrid and since then the player has commanded the limelight.
“I believe Arsenal will be a perfect fit for him”, Fabregas said. “He will enjoy himself a lot in the Premier League. It is a league with lots of spaces, and he is a player that will kill you if you give him space.”
Fabregas, a former gunner who played seven seasons for Arsenal further said: “We already saw that at Real Madrid, he plays a brilliant final pass. I believe he will enjoy himself a lot in England.”
It still remains to be seen how Ozil’s crusade for the London outfit would turn out. He is likely to make his debut for Arsenal against Sunderland on Sep 14.
