Real Madrid defeated Inter Milan 3-0 in an emphatic manner in the International Champions Cup encounter earlier today. The Spanish team outplayed the Italians in an open encounter and showed great fluency, in what was probably their best preseason performance so far.
Los Blancos opened the scoring in the 30th minute of a fast-paced first half, in which both teams showed a lot of attacking intent. Jese Rodriguez exhibited great control and skill to finish with aplomb past Samir Handanovic in the Inter Milan goal.
The second half saw Real completely dominate Inter and increased their lead through central defender Raphael Varane in the 56th minute, who converted a neat cross from new signing Lucas Vasquez.
The best goal of the evening though was scored by Colombian James Rodriguez, who scored a peach of a freekick, with great precision and pace on the ball, that curved beyond the reach of Handanovic.
