Manchester United are definitely in contention for Paris St Germain defender, Marquinhos’ signature, according to one of the player’s representatives. The 20-year old joined the French Ligue 1 club from Serie A side, AS Roma has been struggling to find a first steam spot, after signing of David Luiz from Chelsea.
He has featured only in 12 of PSG’s 21 games this season with Thiago Silva and David Luiz, ahead of him in the pecking order. His agent, Giuliano Bertolucci has said that several clubs are interested in him, including Manchester United.
He said, “We’ll see what his position is next summer. Many clubs are interested. Manchester United is one of them, it’s true.”
Last year, PSG President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that a transfer fee for Marquinhos was non-negotiable.
