PFC CSKA Moskva v Real Madrid CF - UEFA Champions League Round of 16
Jose Mourinho has quite a budget to work with

Mourinho has £80million to spend in January

Manchester United will not shy away from making signings in the January transfer window as Jose Mourinho has been handed a £80million transfer budget, according to Daily Star's Duncan Castles.

As per the claims, United are eying a left back and a dynamic winger to restore the balance to Mourinho's United.

Tottenham Danny Rose and Bordeaux star Malcom are the possible signings for Mourinho during the winter transfer window.

Rose is valued near £45million with Bordeaux not ready to sell Malcom for anything less than £30million. United board are ready to spend £80million in January but could release more funds if Mourinho finds a probable transfer target at the right price.

Lemar causing a 3-way transfer battle

AS Monaco v Juventus - UEFA Champions League Semi Final: First Leg
Lemar is wanted by Arsenal and Liverpool as well

Speaking of that probable target Daily Star reckons Thomas Lemar is Jose Mourinho's first choice player for the left wing role and is adamant for the club to agree a January deal for the AS Monaco winger.

Lemar is also wanted by Liverpool and Arsenal and this could start a 3-way transfer battle with Man United willing to pay the highest, reports Daily Star.

Lemar is also ready to quit AS Monaco with Premier League being his preferred destination. However, Lemar has clearly said NO to Arsenal as he is not convinced by their ambition in near future.

Liverpool believe they are ahead in the race to sign Lemar but Mourinho's eagerness could see United get the deal done in double quick time this January.

Lemar is currently valued in the region of £70m but Monaco want beyond £90m to enter into any negotiations for the French star.

Manchester United make contact for Willian

Chelsea v Newcastle United - Premier League
Willian has started only 10 of the 19 League games this season

Chelsea star Willian is still a target for Jose Mourinho as the winter transfer window draws closer, reports Daily Express.

United have asked Chelsea to keep them updated about any possible change in their stance as The Red Devils want to be the first ones to contact the player if he wishes to quit Stamford Bridge.

Willian has been on United's radar since last summer and manager Jose Mourinho still believe that he can be the perfect replacement for United's out-of-form star Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan has not started a game for United in over a month and Inter Milan are ready to sign him on loan in January with Mourinho seeking apt replacements.

Willian is also struggling for game time at Chelsea having started only 10 of the 19 games this season. Mourinho has worked closely with the Brazilian and believes his pace and trickery could give United a new dimension in the second half of this season.
