Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero believes Manchester United will give his former side a run for their money in their upcoming Premier League encounter on Sunday, October 29. He believes that the Red Devils have not been weak this season and will give the Cityzens a tough game.

Speaking to Stake, Aguero claimed that derbies are special matches and the best players always deliver. He recalled his personal performances in the games and said:

"It'll be a difficult game. Form will matter for sure, but City will have a good performance. I don't think United have ever been weak. They've always had great players and they've always shown that ability to recover from bad periods and get back into the fray. Derbies are special matches, always. They are quite intense as an experience. I'm lucky to have had good memories when we played against United and we had some major wins. I was able to score and those victories paved the way to win trophies, which is what matters the most."

Manchester City are second in the Premier League table with 21 points from nine matches, while Manchester United are ninth with 15 points. The Cityzens have lost just twice this season, while the Red Devils have suffered four defeats.

Manchester City have 'zero chance' against Manchester United, claims Tim Sherwood

Tim Sherwood also made his prediction for the Manchester derby this weekend and backed Pep Guardiola's side. The pundit stated that Manchester United have zero chance of beating Manchester City this week.

Speaking on Sky Sports, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager said:

"No. Simple as that. Zero chance. Zero chance. There's no chance. They didn't look organised out of possession, how are they going to get the ball of them? To be fair though Jules [Breach], their best chance is counter-attacking, that's what they are. They can't handle the ball, they don't dominate possession, they counter attack and they got the threats to be able to do that. Bruno [Fernandes] and Marcus Rashford are a threat, [Alejandro] Garnacho when he comes on, [Rasmus] Hojlund but smart money says it can only be a Man City win."

The last three matches between the two sides have seen both sides get on the scoresheet. The Cityzens have won twice in those matches, including a 6-3 win in October last year.
