After completing his transfer formalities, Pogba told MUTV: "I came back to Carrington and it was like I just came back home. I think it's destiny. It looks like I went for a holiday and I've come back home. I'm happy and I see everyone, the same people, just a great feeling to be honest.”

Pogba continued as the candid interview progressed, “At first my mum told me I would come back here and I told her, 'you never know, we will see', and for myself it was a big challenge for me to come back to where I started. I didn't finish what I started here so I think I came to finish it."

Pogba soon added his objectives, however, feels the price tag doesn’t change his focus and the objective remains the same. He said: "I only think about the pitch. I want to do great, I want to be one of the best, I want to win titles, I want to achieve things. I'm focused on this and I'm just ready to go... and just kill it!"

On asked whether he sees any change in four years, Pogba seemed to try being witty. He further maintained his side of the truth that he always felt a calling from Old Trafford for which he prepared.

“I was younger, now I'm taller, I'm bigger. As I told you, it looks like I went for a holiday and I came back home. I was meant to come back here. I feel this. I always had this United thing in my heart and that’s why I came back. And I'm happy. Just happy. I've got more experience, I've won titles at Juventus, I've been playing with big players. I come back as an adult, with experience, more games. That’s the difference.'

Paul Pogba’s come back to United transpired in a record-breaking deal of £89 million. He signed a five-year contract with the option of a further year.
