Players Chelsea should pick tonight against Steau Bucharest

Travelling away in Europe is always tough, particularly after a poor result in our opening game and Jose Mourinho will be keen to get things back on track before the media can jump on the anti-Mourinho high horse they have enjoyed sporadically in recent weeks.

We know that Marco Van Ginkel is out for the season but there are two notable exclusions from the travelling party with Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne left in England.

Hazard is injured, whilst KDB is apparently being given some Mourinho style tough love at the start of his Chelsea playing career.

One player that has already experienced some Mourinho tough love is Juan Mata who has responded just the way Mourinho wanted and forced his way back in to his plans.

Our on form striker who is suspended for a minimum of one game in the league and is guaranteed to start, hopefully Bucharest will put on a buffet for him tonight.

The Champions League has pitted us against another team we played in the Europa League last season and it is worth noting we lost 1-0 despite being the better team.
