Quaresma arrested in Portugal

Portugal and Besiktas winger Ricardo Quaresma has been arrested in Lisbon for attacking a police officer in a court house.

The former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea player was in court for a trial regarding the robbery incident he was involved in earlier in the year, when he was mugged. It is still unknown however why the footballer attacked the police officer.

Quaresma was earlier indefinitely suspended from Besiktas’ first team after an altercation with the club’s manager. He was also reported to have showed his genitals to a female employee of the club and urinated on the club’s kitman last month, allegations which were later denied by club officials.
