The 17-year-old is said to be the heir to Gianluigi Buffon after making his debut for Italy last week

Real Madrid will be pleased to here that one of their targets, AC Milan goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma is open to a move to Bernabeu in the future. Los Blancos were eerily silent in the recently concluded transfer period as they signed just one player in Alvaro Morata, bringing him back from Juventus. But the European champions have already started their work in identifying the targets for next summer.

Donnarumma, last week became Italy's youngest ever goalkeeper and third youngest player in their 3-1 loss to France. The teenager is expected to take over the reigns from Gianluigi Buffon when the veteran retires after the 2018 World Cup.

Coming back to his club future, Florentino Perez is rumoured to be interested in signing Donnarumma next summer as a deputy to Keylor Navas.

When asked about his future, the 17-year-old said, "I'm only thinking about Milan. I'm trying to do well here and train well each day, then we'll see."

On making his debut for the national team, he continued, "It was an amazing emotion to be in the senior national team already at my age. I want to thank coach Ventura for the opportunity. Buffon gave me some great advice. He told me to enjoy myself and that is that. We had a lot of fun in training."

Earlier this year when asked about Donnarumma's future, his agent Mino Raiola had said, "There won't be any issues with that. I will meet with Adriano Galliani, and if the day comes when Donnarumma will leave, it will only be to play for a foreign club. He only sees Milan in Italy." I won't say anything in particular, but it's clear he is receiving a lot of attention. I can only say that he is doing well for Milan and he appreciates all the attention he is receiving. Christian Abbiati has been like a big brother to him." Raiola continued.

After cooling their long-term interest in David De Gea, Real are now looking for a keeper to be the ever improving Keylor Navas' successor. While Zidane is looking at his son Luca to fill the role, Perez has his eyes set on the gifted youngster from Italy who can expect to have a lot of offers on his table come the next summer transfer window.
