According to the Metro, Spanish giants Real Madrid are plotting a £48 million bid for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez held talks with City owner Sheikh Mansour in Dubai this week and according to the report the main agenda of Perez was to register his interest in Aguero. The sources close to Real Madrid said that their interest in Aguero is certain but added that no offers were made.
Aguero, who played previously for Atletico Madrid, almost moved to the Bernabeu in 2011 but City snatched the striker for a transfer fee of £35m. He is currently enjoying an explosive time at the club this season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.
The report also added that the possible move of Iker Casillas to Manchester City was also bought up in the conversation, with City’s current number one Joe Hart struggling with fluctuating form.
