Angel Di Maria is set to decline offers from the heavyweight English clubs – Arsenal and Manchester United. Both clubs have been long admirers of the Argentine winger, and have identified him as a perfect fit in their endeavours for top honours.
But Di Maria, who has been unsettled by the high profile arrival of Spurs winger Gareth Bale, is reportedly looking for newer pastures. Di Maria was instrumental in the club’s campaign last season, but seems to have fallen out of favour at the Bernebeu, under Carlo Ancelotti.

If sources are to be believed, the winger has already communicated to his agent his desire to leave the Galacticos, and has identified Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco as his ideal destination.
That said, there are slim chances of the move materialising in the January transfer window, as Ancelotti will look to push for the UEFA Champions league and the domestic title in the latter half of the season.
