UEFA leave Luis Suarez waiting after Zenit stamp

UEFA has put the Uruguay striker, Luis Suarez, in a spot by keeping him waiting for their decision after he allegedly stamped on the small of Tomas Hubocan’s back while chasing down the ball, during their latest game against Zenit St. Petersburg.

During the second half of the Europa League game, when the incident took place, there was no action taken against Luis by the referee, neither were there any complaints from the Zenit officials.

Therefore, the UEFA will not know of the existence of a case till Kuipers files his report. Even with the report, the UEFA disciplinary panel will face challenges in deciding if pursuing the case against Suarez is absolutely necessary.
