USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann is very confident that his team will go all the way to the final of the World Cup as he has asked his players’ families to book their flight tickets after the final on July 13.

After making a suggestion to the American government to declare a public holiday which will allow fans to cheer the side on, he has now gone one step further by asking his players to book flight tickets for their families after the World Cup final.

American centre-back Omar Gonzalez said, “Jurgen has been nothing but positive. He’s telling us, he’s telling our families to change our flights to July 14, 15, because we’re going to be here until the very end.

“So that just speaks volumes to how positive he is, how much he believes in this team, and obviously it trickles down to all of us.”

“That means that we’re all as confident as he is, and that we all believe in this team. We plan on being here a few more weeks,” he added.

Earlier, Klinsmann was heavily criticised by American journalists for saying that it was “unrealistic” to talk about USA winning the World Cup. But, now Jurgen himself has taken the responsibility to boost the morale of the players by saying that they are going to stay in the tournament till the very end.

From Group G, USA managed to edge out some challenging opponents such as Ghana and Portugal on their way to the round of 16.

In last 16 clash, they will look to Klinsmann for inspiration in order to overcome an energetic Belgium side on Tuesday.
