A cracking end-to-end game. Mesut Ozil broke the dead-lock in the 80th minute, only for Gerard Deulofeu to equalise soon after, with a cracking strike.

Stoke City 3 – 2 Chelsea

Stoke City beat Chelsea in a thrilling encounter. Andre Schurrle scored a brace, but a 90th minute cracker by Oussama Assaidi gave the hosts all 3 points.

Manchester United 0 – 1 Newcastle United

The Champions slumped to yet another defeat at home at the hands of Newcastle. An error by Patrice Evra was capitalised on by Yohan Cabaye, and they held on for a famous win.

Liverpool 4 – 1 West Ham

Liverpool cruised to yet another home win against beleaguered West Ham United. Luis Suarez again got himself on the score-sheet, with three other own goals in the match. Captain Steven Gerrard limped off the field soon after the second half began.

Southampton 1 – 1 Manchester City

The hosts held Manchester City to a draw after an early lethal strike by in form Serio Aguero. Danny Osvaldo equalised with a brilliant strike after leaving Vincent Kompany on his back.

Sunderland 1 – 2 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur stole a much needed victory away from home. Johnson gave Sunderland the lead with an accomplished finish. Paulinho and a John O’Shea own goal helped Spurs complete the come back.
