Video: Chelsea fans in the US sign John Terry and Nemanja Matic to bolster their local team

Chelsea are currently in the United States going through pre-season, to be more accurate they’re in Montreal, Canada. They play their first game on 23 July 2015 against the New York Red Bulls in the friendly tournament – ‘International Champions Cup’.

While they spend some time in the US, it is an opportunity for fans there to see the players and interact with them. A few Chelsea fans took that to the next level as they decided that their local team needed defensive reinforcements. They would settle for nothing less than the best.

Since the Blues were in town they mounted an operation to sign Jose Mourinho as manager, John Terry in defence and Nemanja Matic in midfield.

Of course their attempts were thwarted a few times but in the end they managed to get 2 out of 3 signatures and they made a hilarious video out of it. Most people would count that as a win!
