Jon Rahm finished in 50th place after the final round of the 2023 PGA Championship. He struggled with his game throughout the tournament.

Rahm began the game with two consecutive bogeys on the second and third holes of the first round. The situation further worsened when he made another bogey on the sixth hole, following it with a double bogey. He attempted to bounce back in the game with a birdie on the eighth hole, but things went wrong as he carded three bogeys on the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes. Jon Rahm finished with a score of 76 on Thursday, May 18.

The Spaniard was battling to make the expected cut of +5, and luckily his second-round performance allowed him to play in the final two rounds. On Friday, May 19, the 2023 Masters champion carded four birdies and two bogeys to finish at 2-under par.

Jon Rahm battled with his game again in the third round, beginning with two consecutive bogeys on the opening two holes. Fortunately, he scored a birdie on the fourth hole, but couldn't add to his total after bogeying once again in the fifth. Rahm suffered five bogeys on the front nine before improving slightly on the back nine with three birdies to finish at 72.

On the final day, he got out to a fast start, making two birdies on the first two holes. He did, however, make three bogeys and finished in 50th place with a score of 71.

Jon Rahm finished in a four-way tie with Nicolai Hojgaard, Padraig Harrington, and Stephan Jaeger. It was his worst performance so far in 2023.
