ONE Fight Night 18: Who took home the $50,000 bonuses?

The first ONE Fight Night card of ONE Championship in 2024 went down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, as the ONE Fight Night 18 card showcased nine high-level matches across the MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing rulesets.

Five MMA bouts, three Muay Thai fights, and one kickboxing contest comprised the card, as the event was headlined by the featherweight showdown between No. 4-ranked Shamil Gasanov and Korean rising star Oh Ho Taek.

#2 Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong (lightweight Muay Thai)

Lightweight Muay Thai contender Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong returned to the winner’s circle in stunning fashion as he defeated Shakir Al-Tekreeti via a second-round TKO finish to pick up his fourth victory in the world’s largest martial arts organization. The 28-year-old Thai star used his signature leg kicks to chop down his taller opponent.

Rungrawee scored one knockdown in the first round and three knockdowns in the second round to force referee Olivier Coste to stop the fight. ‘Legatron’ redeemed himself after suffering his first promotional defeat at the hands of Dmitry Menshikov in his previous fight in September 2023. The stoppage win awarded him his first-ever $50K bonus.


#1 Kwon Won Il (bantamweight MMA)

No. 3-ranked bantamweight contender ‘Pretty Boy’ Kwon Won Il has recorded his third straight win and ninth overall in ONE Championship after stopping the dangerous Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg in the second round of their MMA showdown. It was a beautiful performance from the 28-year-old South Korean, where he displayed his much-improved grappling skills.

Kwon mixed his attacks in the striking and grappling departments and showed fantastic defense against the Mongolian powerhouse. The P-Boy MMA representative ended the match with a series of elbow strikes to Zoltsetseg while he was in top position. This masterpiece from Kwon added an additional $50K to his bank account.
