While attending the media day scrum, Sean Strickland spoke in his typically controversial fashion by likening UFC fighters to p*rn stars and insisting the job title doesn't include being cared for by the boss.

The middleweight is known for his brash comments when put in front of a microphone. Although he isn't actively giving interviews, it is hard to find one where he doesn't say anything conflictual. Despite his love affair with controversy, the brawler is best known for the work he puts in each time he enters the octagon.

Although he seemingly doesn't have a problem with it, Sean Strickland claimed that the UFC treats fighters like "cattle" and that caring for fighters isn't part of Dana White's job.

"I didn't know in the business of 'I'm going to take human beings and make them fight for money,' if giving a fu** about them was part of the job title. If I'm the CEO of the UFC and I'm like, 'Hey, what big, scary motherf***ers can we pick to fight each other,' and afterward, I'm like, 'But, you know, man, I hope they're having a good Christmas, I hope life is good for them,' no, we're f***ing cattle, dude. Us [fighters] versus p*rn stars, what's the difference?... I love my job, but I'm not gonna go look in the f***ing mirror and think I'm LeBron James, I'm not. I'm a f***ing prostitute, man."

Though many fighters have gotten into his bad books, Dana White does tend to show appreciation for some of the competitors on the UFC roster, and even planning a meal with a select few.

Sean Strickland's second push for a title shot

Beginning his career in the UFC with a 6-3 record, Strickland found his feet in the octagon and started putting together a string of wins dating back to October 27, 2018.

The 31-year-old won six straight—including some huge victories over Uriah Hall, Jack Hermansson, and Brendan Allen—before falling victim to the otherworldly power of Alex Pereira.

Strickland now has the chance to redeem himself and put together another title charge. First he has to overcome the heavy-handed threat of Jared Cannonier when the pair meet in the cage on December 17.
