Aditya finishes ninth at Spa

Spa Francorchamps (Belgium) - Aditya Patel finished ninth in Round 8 of the JK Racing Asia Series here Saturday to go with the sixth place he achieved Friday.

But Patel had to work hard for his second top-10 finish of the weekend as he was involved in a wheel-to-wheel battle with Ernie Van der Walt of Meritus GP.

‘We passed each other and were wheel to wheel a few times. It was the closest and longest fight I had on this track. I had good fun this weekend,’ said the Chennai-based Patel.

Meanwhile, South African rookie driver, Aston Hare claimed another win for Eurointernational ahead of team-mates Nabil Jeffri and Tan Wei Ron.
