Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Hill managed to finish in P15 at the BetRivers 200 in Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday. The #21 Chevrolet Camaro driver was once seen leading the event at the mile-long track on the second-last restart before the place slipped away from the 30-year-old driver's grasp.

Hill elaborated on what went wrong during the 200-mile-long event from his point of view in the car and seemingly kicked himself down for not being able to perform to his capabilities during the race. A dejected Austin Hill was seen speaking of the same in a post-race interview with FOX Sports reporter Bob Pockrass saying:

"I'm more frustrated with myself on the restart before the last one. I lost the lead to the #18 (Sheldon Creed) and then #88 (Carson Kvapil) got by, he had a really good run off of (turn) 4 and got clear and then I had a really big run on him off of (turn) 4 and the caution came out unfortunately."

Austin Hill further elaborated on how the final restart during the 200-mile-long event went for him and added:

"When we restarted there on the bottom, I got a pretty good jump and I just kind of committed to 'I'm not lifting until I get pretty late in the corner.' It just didn't work. This one's just on me, on not getting the job done, getting loose underneath the guy."

Meanwhile, NASCAR prepares to go live from 'The Monster Mile' once again tomorrow for the Cup Series event which goes live at 2:00 pm ET.
