Dallas Cowboys undrafted free agents signings tracker after 2024 NFL Draft

The Dallas Cowboys entered the 2024 NFL Draft with some well-established needs.

First and foremost of these was running back. After losing Tony Pollard to the Tennessee Titans, they were seen as very likely to select from a pool of prospects that included record-setting national champion Blake Corum.

Instead, Jerry Jones shocked fans by skipping all of them in favor of potentially bringing back Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys, however, did get a strong haul for the offensive line, which saw a few notable free-agency departures.

Other positions have been bolstered with uncalled players as well. So far, there have been nine.

Here is a list of undrafed players who have received Cowboys contracts so far:

Cam Johnson initially played for Vanderbilt (four seasons) and Arizona (one seasons) before joining Northwestern in 2023. He had career-best numbers there, amassing 715 yards and 6 touchdowns from 54 catches.

Corey Crooms was a stud at Mid-American Conference program Western Michigan before moving to Minnesota. However, he had minimal impact at best with only 28 catches for 376 yards and no touchdowns.

Alec Holler was dependable as a UCF Knight, with gradually increasing receiving yardage. He scored six touchdowns throughout his career.

Brevyn Spann-Ford is one of the more prominent players to go undrafted. After minimal production in his first four seasons, he broke out as a redshirt junior with 497 receiving yards and two touchdowns from 42 catches.

Byron Vaughns started his career at Texas, but he did not break out until transferring to Utah State, where he came one total tackle short of 100 and helped the Aggies win the Mountain West title. He then joined Baylor as a graduate senior.

Denzel Daxon is originally from the Bahamas. Initially playing for the Ohio Bobcats in the Mid-American Conference, he transferred to Illinois for his senior season and immediately became the Fighting Illini's starting nose tackle, amassing 27 tackles.

Brock Mogensen spent his entire career at FCS program South Dakota. He was one of the Coyotes' captains in his final two seasons and placed in the top 15 nationally for tackles as a senior.

Jason Johnson formerly played for FCS program Eastern Illinois, where he was a two-time All-American. Afterwards, he moved to UCF, where he was a first-team All-AAC, then second team All-Big 12 (the Knights joined the Power Five ranks before his senior campaign).

Josh DeBerry initally played for the Boston College Eagles, making the All-ACC second team once and being an honorable mention twice. As a graduate senior at Texas A&M, he had 39 tackles (four for loss), nine pass deflections, two interceptions, and even a sack.
