The Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes are heating up and two of the many teams interested in the star wide receiver are the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.

Both teams were interested in acquiring Beckham Jr. toward the end of the 2022 regular season. He had a visit with the Cowboys before the postseason but the team didn't think he was ready to play, resulting in him being unsigned for the remainder of the season.

As OBJ enters free agency for a second-straight year, he'll be ready to go for the start of the season and has been gaining a lot of interest from many teams.

Last night, OBJ tweeted a video of him running routes and catching passes during his recent NFL workout. It gained the attention of his former teammate, Saquon Barkley.

Barkley Tweeted:

"Still that MF"

Beckham Jr. responded to Barkley by asking him to tell GM Joe Schoen to call his agent about a potential return:

"Tell Joe call my agent.... I got some more shxt left to do."

Beckham Jr. was drafted by the Giants in the first-round of the 2014 NFL draft. He has been named to three Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams in his career. He missed the 2022 season as he was recovering from a torn ACL suffered in Super Bowl LVI.

While OBJ is urging Barkley to tell Schoen to call his agent, the call might have already taken place and the wide receiver didn't get the result he had hoped for.

Per Jordan Raanan, the Giants reporter for NFL Nation, the Giants are out of the running for Beckham Jr. This came after the team re-signed wide receiver Darius Slayton yesterday and signed former Colts receiver Parris Campbell.

Apart from the Cowboys, other teams interested in OBJ are the Chiefs and Ravens.

He's reportedly seeking a contract of $15-$20 million per year, and the race for him is heating up.
