The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles took the field on Sunday afternoon for a classic NFC East rivalry. For the first time in years, this matchup had playoff implications for both sides. As fans flocked to MetLife Stadium to watch the game between the NFC East rivals, there was one fan in attendance that got a lot of fans' attention.
Former President of the United States Bill Clinton was seen arriving at the stadium. The 42nd President, who was wearing a blue New York Giants hat and heavy black jacket, arrived in one of the tunnels at the stadium. Arriving with others also wearing hats and clothing to support the home team.
Although Clinton is an Arkansas native, he and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have lived in Chappaqua, New York, for nearly two decades. Clinton also moved the offices of the Clinton Foundation to Harlem, New York, 20 years ago. The move apparently has made him a fan of the Giants.
Can the New York Giants make the playoffs?
The New York Giants haven't made the NFL playoffs since 2016. It appears that first-year head coach Brian Daboll has completely turned things around in a short period of time. New York was 6-1 before things began to go off the rails.

The 10-2 Minnesota Vikings are leading the NFC North and have the only winning record in the division. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 6-6 and leading the NFC South, while the San Francisco 49ers are 8-4 and winning the NFC West. The closest non-division winner to challenge New York is the 7-5 Seattle Seahawks and the 7-5-1 Washington Commanders.
The Giants will need to get a win to stay in the playoff picture and grab one of the three NFC Wild Card spots available. New York can control their own destiny from here on out by winning. Which won't be easy as they face their NFC East divisional games down the stretch.
