Tom Brady is enjoying the fruits of his retirement. The seven-time Super Bowl champion has caught up on spending time with his family since hanging up his cleats. However, on Saturday, Brady decided to travel abroad to England for a soccer match between two of the Premier League's best.

Brady was in attendance to see Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester United at Old Trafford. The legendary quarterback got to watch two of the world's top athletes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane, go at it.

It's unknown whether or not Brady got his ticket from the Glazer family, who owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manchester United.

Ronaldo lived up to his legendary status, scoring the game's opening goal just 12 minutes into it. Brady revealed he was rooting for Manchester United in an earlier Tweet. He conveyed his excitement at the goal via Twitter by using a clip Ronaldo posted on social media ahead of UFC 254 in 2020.

Tom Brady wasn't alone in his amazement over Ronaldo's goal. Social media instantly went abuzz at the legend's latest feat. It was a difficult shot for Ronaldo. The command and accuracy Ronaldo has of the ball is similar to the control and accuracy Brady possessed in the NFL.

The four-time MVP and Ronaldo also share similarities in their successful longevity. Ronaldo is 37 years old and has continued to play at a high level despite his age. In 2021, Brady was the runner-up in the MVP voting at 44 years old.

Speculation has raged all offseason regarding Tom Brady's future in the NFL. Despite retiring, many believe his competitive spirit will entice him to return near the end of the summer as training camps get going.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk has been adamant all offseason that Brady will come back and try to get a trade to play for his hometown team, the San Fransisco 49ers.

The roadblock in that scenario is that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have Tom Brady's rights. During the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis, Bruce Arians said it would be "bad business" to trade Brady. Arians half-heartedly said it would take five first-round picks to acquire the signal-caller.

There's certainly a possibility Brady will change his mind on retirement. It's not a question of whether he can still physically play. The question is whether or not he still wishes to play.
