TOULOUSE, France (AFP) –

Lock Iosefa Tekori plays for Castres during a French Top 14 rugby union match on November 1, 2012 in Castres, France. Defending French rugby champions Toulouse have announced the signing of three players, including Tekori, for next season.

Defending French rugby champions Toulouse announced on Saturday the signing of three players for next season.

Jean-Michel Rancoule, head of recruiting for the French giants, revealed that Iosefa Tekori and Jean-Pascal Barraque had signed from Top 14 rivals Castres and Biarritz respectively, while 18-year-old Yacouba Camara had also joined on a three-year contract from second-tier (Pro D2) side Massy.

Toulouse, who are bidding for a third successive French title, are also in talks with other players including Castres’ 26-year-old South African scrum-half Rory Kockott.

“The club won’t be recruiting many players,” said Rancoule, who added that veteran 33-year-old prop Jean-Baptiste Poux was set to join Bordeaux-Begles.

Rancoule also announced two of their younger players Karl Chateau, who has made four appearances as a replacement this season, and Maxime Payen were due to leave the club with recently-crowned ProD2 champions Oyonnax leading the chase for both of them.
