DraftKings Boosts and Specials for Today’s NBA Games

We bring you some of the most worthwhile Boosts and Specials for the midweek NBA action brought to you by DraftKings. Who wants to make some cash?

NBA Boost #1- MIL vs PHI, Giannis Antetokounmpo: Leading scorer of the game; (-185)

The 2021 Champions Milwaukee Bucks, begin their campaign with a game against the Philadelphia 76ers who lost against reigning NBA runners-up Boston Celtics. When we talk about the Bucks, the first name to mention is Giannis Antetokounmpo. The "Greek Freak" has arguably been the best player in the NBA over the last 5 years, winning two MVP titles, one Finals MVP, and one DPOY trophy. Giannis was once again one of the favorites to win the MVP award last season, putting up ridiculous numbers. He averaged nearly 30-12-6 splits last season, taking his side to a third-seed finish. Giannis has been instrumental across all fronts for the Bucks, being the leader across all of them. The weight of scoring responsibility will fall on his shoulders, with his elite partnership with Khris Middleton still flourishing. If Giannis gets going, the game will be wrapped up before the halftime whistle blows. Seeing Giannis take on Joel Embiid is a very exciting prospect, making this Boost worthwhile.

NBA Boost #2- LAC vs LAL, LeBron James: Assists Leader of the game; (+205)

The Los Angeles Clippers take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. The Lakers will look to bounce back after an opening-day defeat against the reigning champion Golden State Warriors. LeBron James led across both teams in assists in the first game, with 8. LeBron has often been touted as one of the greatest-ever passers in the game, averaging nearly 7.5 assists per game over his illustrious 20-year career. Last season, LeBron put up phenomenal numbers in a very underwhelming Lakers side that failed to make the playoffs. He was averaging 6 assists a night last campaign, one of his lowest tallies in over a decade. Most of that stemmed from the fact that the Lakers had a lot of injury concerns and weren’t able to field a lineup of scorers consistently. The Lakers faithful will be hoping for something opposite to that this time. All said and done, LeBron will step onto the court, knowing full well that he is the best passer present, and the numbers should reflect that. This Boost certainly holds a lot of value.
