Los Angeles Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs Match Details:

Fixture: Los Angeles Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs

Date and Time: Friday, November 4, 8:00 pm ET

Venue: AT&T Center, San Antonio, Texas

The Spurs have started in brilliant fashion, winning five out of their opening eight games. They currently sit in fifth place in the Western Conference standings and are looking to build on their results.

They are coming into this game on the back of an atrocious loss against the Raptors which ended 100-143. They went into that game as the underdogs but were left humiliated at the end of the game by the manner of the loss, that too at home.

Much of the credit can be given to the Raptors for that resounding win, as it was Pascal Siakam’s triple-double that sunk the Spurs. An untimely injury to Keldon Johnson was also one of the determining factors in the game, considering he has been the leading scorer for the San Antonio outfit.

The LA Clippers have had a solid start to the season as they are still a .500 team in the West. They are coming into this game on the back of a 109-101 win over the Houston Rockets, who are stuck at the bottom of the West.

They are currently on a two-game win streak, both of which they won against the Rockets. This win streak in turn ended the abysmal four-game losing streak which they had leading up to the Rockets’ series.

The Clippers are the worst offense in the NBA at the time of writing. They have the lowest PPG of any team in the League thus far with 101. Much of the blame can be put on their poor shooting splits in this campaign.

The Clippers have been poor from beyond the arc, only making 31% of their attempted threes. They haven’t been impressive from the free-throw line either, only converting 73.4% of their free throws.

Paul George has the scoring for the Clippers this season averaging 22-7-5 this season on 55% true shooting. He has been one of the better two-guards in the league thus far after an injury-riddled 2021 season where he only played 31 games.

Los Angeles Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs Grizzlies Best Pick:

Paul George has had a great start to the season, scoring 22.6 points per game on average. He had a torrid season in the 2021 campaign, only playing 31 games due to injury. George has shot the ball well this season, going 44% from the field, almost 39% from three, and 85% from the free throw line.

With Kawhi Leonard gradually making his comeback to the side, the Clippers could make it deep with their star duo.

Paul George; Points: Over 24.5 (-115)

Los Angeles Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs Final Prediction:

The Spurs have been a strong side this campaign but the Clippers are much better on paper. If Paul George can stay healthy over the entire season, he could carry the Clippers far.

He is coming off a spectacular 28-point performance against the Rockets in his last game. His efficiency has been impressive and could prove to be the point of difference in this game.

Los Angeles Clippers: -4 (-107)
