Pune to host National Aquatic Championship

Pune - The Swimming Federation of India (SFI) is organising the 66th Enerzal Senior National Aquatic Championship here between Oct 1-5 at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi.

Top swimmers from across the country will participate in three disciplines: Swimming, water polo and diving.

More than 850 athletes from nearly all states of India along with Railways, Services and Police will participate.

Some of the elite swimmers participating are: Saurabh Sangvekar, Aaron D’Souza, Gagan AP, Veer Dhaval Khade, Sandeep Sejwal, Talasha Prabhu, Richa Mishra, Surbhi Tipre, Rohit Havaldar, Rujuta Bhat, Akansha Vora, Vandita Dhariyal and Neil Contractor.

In diving some of the main competitors are T Hari Prasad – spring board, Rutika Sriram, Himanshu Tiwari – high board, and K Ramanand Sharma and Pushkar – 1-metre springboard.
