Bianca Andreescu has special guest in her player box during Indian Wells match: her dog Coco

Bianca Andreescu had a special guest in her box during her Indian Wells match against American player Peyton Stearns on Saturday, March 11. Her dog Coco was in attendance, along with her mother Maria.

Andreescu has had a decent start to the season, winning six out of 11 matches and reaching the semifinals of the Hua Hin Championships in Thailand. Seeded 32nd at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, she received a bye to the second round, where she defeated Stearns 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.

After the match, the Women's Tennis Association shared an adorable video on social media of Coco sitting on Maria's lap.

The Canadian also shared the video on her Instagram story.

Andreescu will face World No. 1 Iga Swiatek in the third round (Round of 32) on March 13.

"I was going through a hard time" - Bianca Andreescu on why she turned down Netflix's offer to feature in Break Point

Bianca Andreescu revealed last month that she had received an offer from Netflix to appear in the first season of the tennis documentary Break Point. However, she declined the offer due to personal reasons.

The highly anticipated Netflix series was released on January 13 and had five episodes covering the first half of 2022 - from the Australian Open to the French Open.

During a conversation on the Match Point Canada podcast, the 22-year old revealed that personal challenges played a significant role in her decision to decline Netflix's proposal. Additionally, she was not comfortable with constantly being on camera.

"Yeah, so I actually got offer to be in first season but I turned it down because first of all, I was going through a hard time and I just really wanted to focus on my tennis. One thing was that I didn't want, kind of, cameras to be around me all the time," Andreescu conveyed.

Andreescu later learned from fellow players who appeared on the show that the filming process was not daunting. The 2019 US Open champion added that she would consider future offers from Netflix.

"I spoke to some of the players and they told me it wasn't bombarding whatsoever. They were very respectful and yeah so if they ask me to do it again, I definitely won't back down," said the Canadian.

Andreescu further stated that she liked how the show gave its audience insights on the tour. She also claimed that she got emotional after watching it.
