- Mark Henry News: The latest on Mark Henry is that he’s expected to make his WWE return in the late fall following shoulder surgery.Henry has said, however, that if he doesn’t feel like he can return at 100% then he will retire.
- Raw Preview: WWE is broadcasting this week’s edition of Raw (27 August 2012) from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The following is being advertised for the show:
- Triple H will address his future following his loss to Brock Lesnar.
- Rey Mysterio has been pulled from the advertised line-up after suffering a concussion at SummerSlam.
- AJ Lee will be making Daniel Bryan undergo “anger management.”
- John Cena vs Big Show in a No DQ match is listed as the dark match main event for the evening.
- BackStage News on Brock Lesnar vs HHH: Following WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, it was believed that the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H rematch would not happen until November’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. Now that match is being rumored for October’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. It should be noted that no date is confirmed but the rematch is in WWE’s plans.Regarding Lesnar’s future with WWE, we noted a few weeks back that most within WWE expect Lesnar to be offered a new contract once his current deal expires at WrestleMania 29.
Lesnar is said to be very happy with his current deal and most believe he would sign another contract if WWE offered him the same stipulations. The 2012 SummerSlam buyrate will likely play a huge factor in what WWE offers Brock next time.
- Ted DiBiase Note: Ted DiBiase won’t be at this week’s WWE RAW and SmackDown tapings as he’s currently battling a case of pneumonia. DiBiase noted on Twitter that he’s at home in Mississippi preparing for Hurricane Isaac.
- Another ‘Tough Enough’ Season? : WWE NXT trainer Bill DeMott was asked on Twitter about a new season of Tough Enough. He replied:
“I actually herd some buzz about #toughenough getting up and running!”
- Superstars Speculate to HHH Future: Many WWE Superstars tweeted, in character, speculating what The Game have to say.
