AJ is once again in the spotlight on Raw as we get closer to the Money in the Bank PPV

The 998th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw Supershow will take place at Denver, Colorado and it is the final Raw before the Money in the Bank PPV on 15/7/2012.

The curious case of AJ:

Besides the build-up for the MITB matches, the WWE title duel between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will be the focal point of this show. Especially AJ, who will be the special guest referee for this match on Sunday, might explain her actions of last week when she kissed CM Punk and pushed him onto Daniel Bryan and both men ended up going through the table. Then on Smackdown, she kissed both Bryan and Punk which left both men bewildered. This angle is getting murkier with every passing week and should probably come to an conclusion at Money in the Bank.

Fatal 4-Way Money in the Bank match?

Meanwhile, John Cena has began his crusade towards the WWE championship. He will have a tough task at hand come Money in the Bank wherein he has to deal with Big Show, Chris Jericho and Kane. The Big Show has made his intentions clear over the past few weeks that he wishes to hurt people if it results in him getting an opportunity for the WWE championship. Chris Jericho, who returned a couple of weeks ago also vies for the MITB briefcase. Expect these men to have another altercation on Raw ahead of their match on Sunday.

Also, there is speculation that one or two superstars might be added to this match. The name of Rey Mysterio has been doing the rounds as a possible addition to this contest. His suspension expired a few days ago and he is a former WWE champion, so he might be added to this contest.

World Heavyweight Championship picture:

The animosity between the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and his challenger at Money in the Bank, Alberto Del Rio, has been increasing with every passing week. Last week, Del Rio made a strong statement has attacking Sheamus with the hood of his car. Sheamus would not want to go into the championship match looking weak and hence might have something in store for Del Rio on Raw.

No GM for Raw?

Though Zack Ryder won a battle royal last week to become the General Manager for this week’s Smackdown (or Zackdown!) there is no authority figure for this week’s Raw unlike the last few weeks. It will be interesting to see who’s in-charge of this week’s Raw but we’ll come to know of it only after the show starts.
