5 Last-minute WrestleMania Rumours: Former WWE Champion Returning, Huge Heel Turn?

We're just hours away from the kick-off show for WrestleMania now. The rumor mill is in overdrive with Mania so close including rumors that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will show up.

Let's take a full look at the WrestleMania rumors ahead of the show.

#5 Rey Mysterio returning

Rey Mysterio at the Royal Rumble

Rey Mysterio has reportedly been spotted at the hotel WWE are using in New Orleans. Rumors of Mysterio being Strowman's partner were already circulating and this will add more fuel to those rumors?

Does it make complete sense for Mysterio to be Strowman's partner? No, not really and Bray Wyatt would have made more sense but this rumor reminds me a little bit of the Hardy brothers returns last year. Where there is smoke, there's bound to be fire.

#4 Shane McMahon turning heel

Shane McMahon teams up with Daniel Bryan for WrestleMania

There has been tension brewing for months now between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon. The tension between Bryan and McMahon has only been set aside only since Owens and Zayn brutally attacked McMahon, seemingly turning Bryan against his former friends Owens and Zayn.

Could Shane turn on Daniel Bryan during the match for some reason? Although Shane aligning with Owens and Zayn doesn't make sense, Bryan aligning with Owens and Zayn with Shane being a heel going forward does.

#3 Battle Royale returns

Many big names announced for the Battle Royale

A number of big returns are expected for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale. Superstars like Big Cass, Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy supposedly ready to return.

Another Superstar who's reportedly ready to return is, former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre, who could also feature in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale.

#2 Paul Heyman turns on Brock Lesnar

By most people's assumptions, Brock Lesnar will leave WWE after WrestleMania. This could lead to one of the biggest turns in recent memory with Paul Heyman turning on Brock Lesnar.

This also has historical precedent. Heyman has turned on Lesnar in the past, namely at Survivor Series 2002, helping Big Show beat The Beast.

With Lesnar leaving for the UFC, this could be Heyman's revenge for Brock leaving him behind.

#1 No Undertaker vs Cena match?

Enter c
Cena challenged the Undertaker

According to latest reports, and one by PWInsider, the match between Taker and Cena is off. Although the Undertaker and Cena will both be at WrestleMania, their segment could now only be a face-off.

This could lead to a future match between Cena and Undertaker, giving Taker no more chance to recover from his surgery.
