The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is an annual event held over WrestleMania weekend where the WWE honour stars of the past for their contributions, and it's always a fantastic evening.

From celebrities to managers to tag teams and singles stars, the last few years classes have been absolutely stacked, so instead of predicting the 2019 class, we've decided to look to the future, and 5 WWE stars from the past 20 years that will be inducted over the next 5 years.

Sure, depending on retirement, there could be others to join them, but given the successful careers and impact all of these performers have had on the WWE as a whole, it's safe to say that they'll all be entering the Hall very soon. As always, let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comment section down below.

#5 Mickie James

In the early 2000s, women's wrestling was really struggling, but it was on the back of people like Lita and Trish that it improved, and Mickie James was the one to carry that torch for the following generation.

It wasn't until NXT was born in 2012 that WWE started treating their women like superstars, but from 2006 to now, Mickie James has shown that she's every bit as good as the men in WWE.

Sure, there are plenty of things they'd like to leave out of her induction: he Piggie James angle, her backstage antics with John Cena and her time in TNA, but inside the ring in the WWE, there were few better than James.

Her debut rivalry against Trish is seen as one of the best in WWE history, and the 5-time WWE Women's Champion earned everything she got in her career, so it only makes sense that a WWE Hall of Fame induction is next.

#4 The Big Show

The Big Show, despite all of his turns in the last few years, is one of the best performers the WWE have ever had, and the workload he has put in over the last 20 years is incredible considering his size.

We've seen people of his size in the past, but they didn't come near the in-ring work or longevity that Show did, and it's about time he gets the respect he deserves for that.

Sure, he's been a victim of terrible booking over the years, but given what he can do for a man his size, he has to be considered one of the best monsters in WWE history and deserves this huge honour.

No one really knows what the future holds for The World's Largest Athlete, because he's made sporadic appearances over the past few years, but when he's done, it's safe to say he'll headline a Hall of Fame class.

#3 Kane

Kane is yet another example of WWE pushing big men, but like his storyline brother, Glenn Jacobs dedicated himself to making this character work, and he did just that. His debut to confront The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell is still one of the greatest debuts in WWE history and it immediately made him one of the biggest stars in the entire company.

He was never pushed as high as The Undertaker for some reason, but he still made it to the top of the mountain several times, and given his loyalty and resume over the years, he will again be rewarded with this great honour.

He's made several returns over the past couple of years, but given that he was elected Mayor, it's likely his WWE days are numbered, so sending him into the Hall of Fame in 2019 or 2020 would make perfect sense.

#2 The Undertaker

The Dead Man will live forever as a Hall of Famer
The Dead Man will live forever as a Hall of Famer

The Undertaker is a character that was not supposed to survive the 90s, as it's an odd gimmick, but the talent and dedication of Mark Callaway to the character not only helped it survive but thrive for the past 25+ years.

The Undertaker had many iconic feuds over the years and took a WrestleMania undefeated streak 21 straight years, which made him one of the most popular stars that the company has ever created.

He's hung on over the past few years, but after a couple of mediocre performances in 2018, it's clear that he needs to hang them up, and a Hall of Fame induction in 2019 would be the perfect way to do that.

The DeadMan didn't have the Championship success over the years that someone of his standing should have, but he made up for it with incredible character work and consistency, but regardless, he'll always be seen as one of the greatest WWE stars of all time.

#1 The Rock

The Rock is one of the biggest stars to ever enter the wrestling business, and after a long and successful career, it's time he is honoured with a Hall of Fame induction. If not for his constant returns while he's off in Hollywood, this might have happened already because Stone Cold has already entered. But it's time for The Great One to achieve this honour.

He was never the best worker inside the ring, but he was electrifying on the microphone, showing the overwhelming charisma that has now made him the biggest movie star in the entire world.

Over the course of his career, Rocky won multiple Championships and was at the head of the greatest era in wrestling history, including his iconic rivalry with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

If The Rock isn't inducted into the Hall soon, there's no point to having it, because he is one of the best all-around performers in WWE history.
