Tag team close to signing ROH contract, Team TNA defeats Team GFW, Dixie tweets Jarrett

The Young Bucks are reportedly closing on a deal with the ROH

- According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter it looks like The Young Bucks and Ring of Honor may be close to a contract deal. Any deal that The Young Bucks sign would have to allow them to keep their commitments with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and they would like to be able to regularly work with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, as well.

ROH prevented their contracted talent from competing in PWG after Adam Cole was injured during a show. The promotion was also not happy about Michael Elgin, who was ROH World Champion at the time, losing a singles bout while competing for PWG. Tensions between the two promotions seem to have cooled, though, because along with The Bucks, the two promotions are in talks to have Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly, compete for both.

- Team TNA defeated Team GFW in the “Winner Takes All” Lethal Lockdown match this week on Impact, effectively ending the Global Force Wrestling invasion and marking Jeff Jarrett’s latest departure from the company. The real-life drama between Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett, that for weeks has played out on Impact Wrestling, came to a head tonight in a shares vs shares, Winner Take All match.

The stipulation included if Dixie's Team TNA defeats Team GFW, Dixie will acquire Jeff's shares in TNA and he will no longer be a stakeholder. The perks that were also on the line included Jarrett's Hall of Fame induction, promotion for Global Force Wrestling and GFW having the rights to book TNA talents. TNA President Dixie Carter tweeted this after the victory:
