The current Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, is a part-time WWE Superstar, and he rarely defends the Universal Championship at pay-per-views. The WWE Universe wants a champion who will bring the title to every episode of Monday Night Raw, as well as defend it on all PPVs.

Roman Reigns once defeated Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship but had to relinquish his championship due to his battle with leukemia. There was a match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman for the vacant Universal title at WWE Crown Jewel where Brock defeated Strowman and won the WWE Universal Championship for a second time.

This year Seth Rollins won the Royal Rumble and got a title opportunity at WrestleMania. Seth chose to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the main event of WrestleMania 35 which is going to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019.

Brock will defend his title at the main event of WrestleMania, where most of the fans think Seth Rollins will beat Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship. Rollins is now everyone's favorite superstar to beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 and bring the Universal Championship steadily to Monday Night Raw, as The Architect would be present on each episode of RAW, unlike Lesnar.

However, WWE may have some other plans.

Brock Lesnar reportedly signed up for the next Saudi Arabia show, and WWE could want to sell more tickets with this fight, so WWE may make Brock retain the title at WrestleMania, so that Brock and Seth would have a rematch for the Universal Championship in Saudi Arabia, where they could make The Beast drop the belt to Seth Rollins.
