WWE News: Former WWE Champion booked for an event in UK

Kurt Angle has been a 6 time WWE World Champion

The former 6 time WWE World Champion, Kurt Angle, announced last year that he will part ways with TNA after 31st January, 2016. Although his last match in the company was against Lashley, that aired on March 8th episode of Impact Wrestling. Since then, Angle has been a free agent.

Though the Olympic Gold medalist once mentioned that he will stay away from this business for a year or more, he didn’t keep his word. On March 20, 2016 Kurt Angle wrestled another former WWE World Champion, Rey Mysterio for URFight in a losing attempt. Kurt Angle has been booked for another event on June 12, where he will compete for Revolution Pro Wrestling in a match against Zack Sabre Jr.

According to the reports of wrestlinginc.com, the former 6 time WWE World Champion has confirmed a third match since leaving TNA. Angle announced to wrestle on November 20th at ICW's "Fear and Loathing IX" event in Glasgow, Scotland. His opponent for that event is yet to be revealed. The promotion tweeted the following:

An unexpected name just challenged Randy Orton RIGHT HERE.
