John Cena, the franchise player of WWE, has been absent from WWE programming for the past few months as he was sidelined with an injury. The Cenation Leader is set to return to WWE programming on Memorial Day’s Raw episode on May 30th .
John Cena recently spoke about his return and what he intends to do in WWE once he returns. John Cena, who was a guest host of the show Today, spoke to his co-hosts regarding his return. John Cena said he was raring to go already. Though he far ahead of his scheduled return, Cena feels that he is a month late. Since he has been out for seven months from WWE programming, John Cena has been going a bit stir crazy with not being able to wrestle and be on the road.
Cena promised his co-hosts that his return to Raw will bring Mayhem to the show. He also clearly stated that he has intentions to go after the U.S.Championship which he lost to Alberto Del Rio. He intentions were clear when he saud that he is returning to claim the title he has lost.
The US Championship has grown stale after John Cena dropped the belt. The belt was defended in the pre-show of three consecutive PPVs much to the dismay of fans. With John Cena’s return we can expect the championship to be restored to its former glory.
