WWE News: Shinsuke Nakamura taken out on a stretcher at recent NXT tapings

The King Of Strong Style

At the recent NXT T.V. tapings at Full Sail University, Samoa Joe attacked NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, which led to Nakamura being taken out of the building in a stretcher. Below are some pictures courtesy of the fans who attended the show:

From the pictures, it looks like Joe came out to congratulate Nakamura on his win at Takeover: Brooklyn II, but then viciously beat up Shinsuke, making NXT/RAW Announcer Corey Graves and NXT General Manager, William Regal, come to the ring to check on Nakamura.

This incident is obviously a foreshadowing of the rematch for the NXT Championship between Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura presumably at the next Takeover, which Joe will probably lose as he’s being called up to the main roster.

Samoa Joe won the NXT Championship from Finn Balor at an NXT House Show, and then later defended it again in a Steel Cage match against Finn at NXT Takeover: The End. He eventually lost it to Nakamura at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II. Joe injured his jaw by getting hit with the Kinshasa during his match with Nakamura and I wonder how that will play out in the story-line.

If I may deviate a bit from Samoa Joe, I’m much interested to know who’s going to go after Nakamura, will it be Bobby Roode or is it going to be a new indie talent? Because once Joe leaves NXT, there are not a lot of main-eventers except Austin Aires and Bobby Roode. Well, I think Roode’s possibly going to be the next man to go after Nakamura’s championship.

What do you guys think? Did you guys enjoy the match between Joe and Nakamura at Takeover: Brooklyn II?
