For the last few years, WWE has taken the measures to clean up their roster every year. In Spring, several talents are released from their contracts with WWE and the WWE Universe prefers to call it as the ‘Spring Cleaning’. This year, on May 6th, WWE decided to release Cameron, Alex Riley, Zeb Colter, Hornswoggle, El Torito, former Money in the Bank contract winner Damien Sandow, along with the former multi-time Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett and Santino Marella.

Several news websites claimed that long time WWE employee, Lilian Garcia has also been released from her contract and that was the reason behind her absence from WWE. The heat behind the incorrect report has still not left some of the websites, as Lilian was loved by the WWE fans as whole.
Dailywrestlingnews reports a speculation that there may have been some miscommunication among the WWE officials. Some WWE officials were aware of the fact that Lilian was away to be with her father, who is suffering from cancer. But, it looks like some of the higher-ups were unaware of this and when it was brought to their notice they nixed the idea of releasing Lilian.
Lilian supported this by confirming that WWE was supporting her through tough times while she cleared the air about the rumors on social media. Dailywrestlingnews.com also reports that there was no talks of releasing Lilian within the company and assures fans that she will not be released anytime soon.
